How I did it: I'm not yet sure if I've succeeded, but it has been 30 days since I've bitten my nails and they look great. Basically, I convinced myself to let them grow long enough to get a manicure. Once I got one, they looked to pretty to bite. Now I use nail strengthener and my file to cut down on breakage.I credit the whole thing to an event that greatly decreased my stress at work! How I did it: My husband and I saved for about 18 months after our wedding for the down payment. The 8,000 tax credit was what finally got us to take the plunge. I think we started lookin in late February of 2009 and put a bid in on a house in April. Bought in the end of May and move in August 1st. YAY!! Read how I did it…
Did this back in April during the Race for Clean Air in Philadelphia. Beat my old time by about three minutes!
I found my dream job back in April. After months (or years in the grand scheme of things) of searching – it was totally worth it!
