Yesterday I got home to find my uncle and dad over at the house visiting Grandpa. I was wondering what was up, and they told me that Gpa’s doctor is going to call the DMV and have his drivers license taken away. Kinda sad, but Gpa is dealing with the news really really well. Overall it’s for the best because he’ll be safer. But now as the closest family member and person with best access to a car, I need to step up my role in hanging w Gpa and being there for him when he needs me. I love my Grandpa so much—he’s done so much to provide for his kids and his granddaughter, now it’s our turn to give back. :)

How I did it: Walked into the Apple Store on a Tuesday after work, LIKE A BOSS. ;)I was debating between the Mac Book and the Mac Book Pro, so I chatted w the staff and made my decision to go all out with the titanium mac book pro. Also got a free iPod Touch with my student ID and the Apple Care warranty thing.Went home, plugged it in, and started computing! Read how I did it…
How I did it: This was one of the more fun goals I've set out for myself. Initially, I worked with what I had and what my roommate was able to loan me from her makeup collection. The hardest part was getting comfortable applying the eyeliner. Once I had that down, I started moving to eyeshadow. At first just one color all over my lids, working up to multiple shades to create the "smokey" look. I knew I had achieved my goal when I… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Went through and actually cleared out about 10 gigs of music that I had pretty much never listened to, or just random bad music that I didn't even want on there. Added all the cover art, and fixed the names of songs and artists. Read how I did it…

It’s been incredibly difficult to work on my project in secrecy. Despite some major life changes, setbacks, and stumbling blocks, I am motivated and on track to making this goal a reality!
There have been some super important things lining up over the past week or so to that I’ve been praying for. I really see this as the key to my secret project and now I can bring it into full gear!
...you’re still wondering what the secret project is, huh?
