Been there, done that

I installed OpenBSD on an old computer I wanted to use as a home server. The installation itself was dead simple: I just followed the install docs and chose all of the default options, except for the hard drive partitioning. It was a pain to get set up as an OAMP server, but it’s been an educational experience. I’d been considering using OpenBSD as a desktop system on an old laptop, but I’ve decided to stick with Linux for the desktop. As a server OpenBSD is good, in spite of its idiosyncrasies.
