I have been able to do it blowing through a drinking straw for years… it’s the whole clarinet embouchure that trips me up!
I’m not sure if eating within that range EVERY day is realistic… I’m going to allow myself one day to go over per week, at most. I did go over Friday because I went out with friends. Dinner, drinking, and late-night pizza was involved, so yeah! Other than that I did stay w/in range this week.
This is really dinky considering I practiced more than this in junior high, but I want a goal that I can realistically achieve, and I plan to increase the goal in the future.
Band rehearsal does not count, but practicing band music definitely does.
