Tried to meditate outside today. Didn’t go well, I thought it would be relaxing but I was in the woods and some kids not far off started a fire in a fire pit so I called the fire department. Anyway didn’t make for a relaxing time. I may stick to meditating in my room from now on because I can have more control over what goes on.
I have been having a lot of digestive issues lately. One of the things I think it might be is stress. I started meditating a week or so a go every couple of days for 5-10 minutes and it is really helping. I also try and focus on my breathing throughout the day. Especially if I feel stress or tense. I notice that I don’t breath properly or fully very often.
I have so much on my plate, I feel like I am constantly working at things. Part of what I’m doing involves research and reading a lot of articles. Information out there is endless so I’m continually doing it but it feels like I’m only scratching the surface.
Clean up my room,

get rid of things and projects that have been taking up space and stopping me from what i am doing
only hold onto things I love or help me to accomplish my goals.
1. To have a library that contains books, films and comics which either inspire or teach through sheer interest or study and examination.
2. Have and maintain an inventory of my filmmaking equipment
3. A relaxing space (my bed) free from obstructions and distractions but surrounded by comforting things and memorabilia/memories
4. Maintain peace and order in the bat cave.

i downloaded the IMDB app and added all the ones I havn’t seen to my watchlist so i can keep track, i own a few so i’ll be starting with those, likely Silence of the lambs first.
Ok, working on this is hard because this is a stressful time of year and I believe that my best self is kind, generous, and full of lots and lots of love! I’m trying my best to always be positive and always look for the good in things.
The tough part is not letting others make me feel small when they are being negative and do not accept my positivity.
that and i’m getting fat hahaha.
I used to do the bootcamps last year and might do this one, i havn’t had the internet so lets see if i can keep up.
if I want to embody my best self i will want to be as kind, and helpful as possible, as productive and creative as I can be.
recently finished the long valley by John Steinbeck
decided to re-read the hobbit in preparation for the movie that i am sure to love!
This was going well all summer because i had a great job, now i’m back to retail because it was contract work. come on baby i can’t wait for spring money to come in!

oh god i’m doing it again. this is painful. The last job I had was as a barrista i liked the work but not the management so i quit. now i’m jobless. blech.

I’m also half through the last hunger games book, In the country of last things by paul auster and i purchased a john steinbeck book with lots of short stories and the mindy kalling book! lol
