I’ve been depressed for at least five years. I can’t even get over it because it’s my family and the feeling that I won’t ever be able to get to where I want to be that’s causing it. I put such high standards on myself, and I can’t help it. I’m a junior in high school, and I can barely concentrate or stay awake these days to do homework! Lately, I’ve also been noticing that I’m drifting away from my friends; I’m in the school library practically every lunch because I didn’t do/finish homework from the night before. Anyone have any tips to regain concentration?
