I’ve started the couch to 5k running – finally – after wishing I could be a runner for so long. I figure now, at 30, is as good a time as any. I’m working up to a half marathon, preferably before my 31st birthday in March.
I’m using a combination of Suz’s and PodRunner (DJ SteveBoy) podcasts. Suz has great music, but the lyrics are not at all clean – podrunner is instrumental and is mixed so your goal is for your tempo to match the BPM of the music. Should be a good mix.
After about a month of no workout at all, and lots of vacation eating, after day one yesterday combined with some ab work – I’m sore and a bit tired – but not dragging myself across the floor as I though I would be.
I’m doing Monday, Tuesday, Thursday – so today is day two…I’ll keep you posted!
