... at least sometimes I feel like i don’t have friends anymore. I really want to keep in better touch with my friends. I don’t want to end up like one of those people that don’t have any.



Write a best-seller
Dude, I would love to write a best-seller 20 months ago

I ‘ve always loved writing, ever since I was really young. I used to write all these stories and now i just never have time.

I’ve started writing two books. But the thing is that I find that what I write best about are my personal experiences and i’m not sure I want some people who are very close to me to read it, because I’m scared of what they would think.



Lose 30 pounds
I lost 30 pounds, It took me 3 years, now it's been 2 years since then, I'M PROUD! 20 months ago

A LITTLE BACKGROUND:
I’m really proud of myself for losing this weight. It’s amazing how when i tell people this they they think i’m exaggerating and can’t imagine me bigger.

I’ve told my boyfriend of 2 years that I’m definitely not naturally thin, and that i can’t eat without thinking because I will put on weight, he doesn’t believe me. And that’s because when you look good, no one can imagine that you were once overweight.

HOW I DID IT:

I always wanted to lose weight but it took me a really long time to actually stick to consistently working out and eating healthy.

To lose and keep off weight for the rest of your life, you need to be consistent. YOu cannot be healthy for one day and then pig out of 5. I’m definitely not saying you should starve yourself-NEVER STARVE YOUSELF—because one day you’ll be so hungry you won’t care at all and just attack your fridge and eat everying in sight.

Just gradually work on things. For me it helped to print out an nutrition triangle from the internet and try to follow it.

Basically my goal every day was to start out with a big breakfast(some kind of protein, fruit and/or cereal) , have a yummy and helthy lunch and a smaller dinner.

Just try to always have veggies and fruits already cut in pieces in your fridge. That way if you want a snack you can reach for them. If you work you should bring a tup-a-ware to work filled with healthy meals and snacks.

don’t eat fried foods. Opt for cooked, steamed and raw. You need to also expirement with diferent healthy foods. Because if you only eat apples, their will be a day when you no longer want apples.

YOu should also always carry a water bottle with you. It’s very important to stay hydrated.

The same goes for excersize. You need to vary so you never get sick of anything. At first I would go to the gym and do fun classes like yoga, salsa, and rumba. Then, i got into spinning. When I was sick of paying a high gym rate I started walking around. One day I felt so good walking I jogged a little(not for long, I could only go for about 5 seconds..) but then everytime i felt good walking i would jog a little.

It would really motivate me to listen to music, and sometimes even think of the faces of the people who used to make fun of me and make me cry when I was little when they saw me thin and beautiful.

One day, I was able to jog the whole route I usually walked. Then, a few months later, I jogged for 5 miles. 1 year and a half later, i jogged in a 10 mile race supporting children’s camp for kids with cancer.

Now, I’m a little tiered of jogging and have started swimming. I loooove swimming. And i love eating healthy and feeling good. I want everyone to do the same. And I know how hard it is to start. But you need to find the thing that really motivates you, then you need to start and not stop. EVerytime you stop working out for two weeks or pig out your taking a step back.

If you excersise for an hour and then eat 5 pieces of chocolate cake in 10 min’s , it’s like you never worked out at all.

Also, another trick is to choose a day and a meal where it’s ok to have a yummy snack. For me that is friday night. On friday dinner, i allow myself to drink some soda and have some dessert if I want.
