I was at the Dr.s Office on Friday morning, and they told me that I weigh 135 lbs. (this is misleading, it sounds like a good thing, right?) Nope. In high school as a freshman, i weighed 115. When i graduated high school, i weighed 120, 125 on bad days. Somehow in the past year and a half (probably in the past 2 months, LOL) i have gained 10 lbs. this is promptly being removed from my body, starting with eating healthy.

I bought 2 black lyretail molly fish yesterday :)
they are appropriately named Elvis and Priscilla…
also, I think fish are great. You don’t have to do much to keep them alive, and they are entertaining. Breathing under water is obviously one of the cooler talents in life.

making a mistake with someone you love is the worst thing of all. leaving someone you love is the worst mistake in the world.
now, learning from this mistake requires getting over the lost love, being brave enough to find a new love, and then not letting it get lost again.
or maybe, against all odds, it would be better just to find the lost love again, and get it back.

I learned recently that one has to have only 10% body fat (or less, obviously) in order to have a visible six-pack. i think that just having that cool line down the middle of my stomach would be nice. lol. anyways… how does one lose half of their body fat?

i am back in good ol’ Ventura for christmas with the fam, and i’m going to go for a run on the beach after breakfast. I think it’;; be easier to work out here until i can go to the gym. And, i realized, i don’t have school for a month, so i have plenty of time to establish the good habit of going everyday.

I learned how to budget my fixed expenses vs my flexible expenses yesterday.
Now the hard part will be sticking to that plan.
because god i love to spend money on things i don’t need. HA.

I was nervous as all hell when i went in, but once he started i totally relaxed. it was a piece of cake… The needle was barely noticeable and was only minorly painful in a few spots at the end.
DEFINITELY worth doing… i love it.
and you were right, i am definitely geeked out. :-P

I set my alarm for 9, i semi-woke up at 915 when it went off again. Does that count? i feel like it should because we all set our alarms earlier than we really want to wake up unless we have already mastered this goal.

Going to Branson would mean the WORLD to me… one of my best friend’s/pseudo-boyfriend has moved there and i would give anything just to go out there for a solid weekend. I have seen him maybe once or twice in the past year and i feel like it is way too long to not see someone you love that much.
This is one of the top things on my close-future to-do list <3

I am not at a place in my life where i can get married.
But, it is a (somewhat) goal because in the very few life experiences i’ve had, living is not as rewarding unless there is someone you love by your side sharing in all your failures and triumphs and all the mundane things in life that seem just that much more special because you’re not alone.
Once i can learn to appreciate and love being alone, i will truly put this goal on the list.

Keeping track of my money is a goal brought about by the complete opposite. When i don’t keep track… i end up having to pay more money than the money i already spent that i didn’t have in the first place. And, whats worse, i often can’t remember what i spent my money on. And i’m consistent in being unorganized, which doesn’t really help. So, here are the sub-goals that go in the general category of keeping track of my finances:
*keep a balanced checkbook
*switch banks
*pay off credit card(s)
*SAVE money
*spend less money on things i don’t need (this really is just willpower to not buy that new bra from VS’s new line. grr)

This goal was inspired by one of my best friends who is currently in Missouri, donating and sacrificing (although its a sacrifice without negative connotation) a year of his life (or possibly 3… oi!) to helping troubled and deviant kids/teenagers and their families. I figured donating a week or two of my time to build houses for people who truly need it would be a physically and emotionally demanding and enlightening way to learn about the world. Not everyone is as lucky as i am, and has a comfortable place to sleep.
and, helpng people does wonders for your self esteem.
