spend more time with my son
No regrets 4 years ago

Yes I could have spent more time with my son when he was younger but would it have been quality time? Kids can sense it when the time you spend with them is obligatory or unfocused. They want quality. Crazy kids.
Now that he’s an adult I’d like to hang out with him on a regular basis….but I forget…...he’s got a life and is establishing his identity and boundaries. I’m not going to be his first choice for socializing. Who said being a parent would be easy? Not me.

Visit a Particle Collider
Muons and Gluons 4 years ago

Billions of dollars are going to be spent over the next few years trying to capture the essence of reality. I want to visit one or more of the facilities where this work is being done. Is there a risk that one of these grand experiments will rip a hole in the fabric of space and time? Maybe. It’s not going to stop our searching though is it? We’re using tools that our ancestors could only guess at and if we vaporise ourselves in the process of discovery…..will the cosmos care? I don’t think so. Party on.
