find a good vocal coach

I’ve been singing since I could make sounds as a toddler. I really started singing around 6th grade when I had to pick either band(with an asshole teacher)or choir…who was still a rough choice but atleast I heard she taught well. I learned the proper techniques of singing and competing in competitions was a rush. I hated middle school and this was the only thing worth getting up in the morning for. Well I’ve continued through the years with some of the techniques I was taught and I’ve forgotten some things. I was never really challenged in high school choir but I was told I had mad talent. Then I was in a musical and someone who saw me perform came up to me out of the blue and took me under the wing. She taught me so much, but I know there is tons more I need to learn…like how to breathe right….more where this came from later.

Learn Spanish

It’s sad that I don’t know Spanish, seeing as my mom knows Spanish fluently. She’s Mexican for crying out loud..lol Well I was raised speaking English only. Now I realize that in this day in age it’s best to be bilingual. It will help me in finding a good job and it’s nice to understand what people are saying around you, especially here in Houston! lol

be a movie buff

I didn’t go to the movies much when I was younger but my parents would get me to watch lots of animated movies and children’s classics. Now that I’m older, I’ve grown to appreciate them so much and they taught me many life lessons and brought me enjoyment. Well anyway, what I’m trying to say is I’d like to find these movies and watch them again along with lots of other movies. Like I stated, movies teach you something whether you realize or not. I want to learn. :) Every now and then I’ll write an entry about a new movie I’ve seen or something I really enjoy.
