I left school at 16 in 2004, I could never get a job, I tried going to the job search government programs, but all they did was offer me the lowest paid slave labor jobs, or fast food jobs. In the end I told them I was worthy of better. I left the job search office to find my own job. I found a fast food job, which I could have had through the agency, but I was proud to get a job on my own. I stayed at that job for 6 months, every chance I had, I’d apply for new jobs. I want to be a nurse so I tried all the hospitals and nursing homes. Then I get a call one day from a nursing home, they wanted an interview, so I spend my weeks wages (my wages were so low as I only worked 8 or 9 hours a week) on a suitable outfit and hair cut. I had a funny feeling I’d get the job.. I attended the interview, it went really well. I waited like 3 weeks and my hopes were really down as I heard nothing from them. Then a couple of days later the boss called me and said “I’m proud to say you were successful in your application, you will be receiving a new employee pack in the mail, fill the forms out and send them back to me” I was so happy!! Then I get a phone call 20 mins later, they had me start the next day. It was so quick, I never had time to celebrate. I’ve now been there for 7 months and haven’t looked back.

How I did it: I'd seen rook piercings on the internet, and I didn't really think much to them, maybe because it looked quite painful to me. Then I seen an old friend who'd had it done, and in the flesh it looked so unique and cute, I decided I was definitely going to get that done, I asked her if it hurt and her reply was it never hurt really, just the healing part was most uncomfortable. I know I have a high pain tolerance so I put it into plan to one… Read how I did it…
didnt hurt, I paid $55 for it, it bled a tiny bit, but no pain, I felt a dull aching at the site of the piercing for about 20 mins, after that it started to itch, and now its not hurting at all. The piercer put cotton wool in my ear so I never heard the skin pop.. I am really happy with it and so happy I got it done, I wish I’d have got both at once. But I will be going back to get the left one done in a few days and I am looking forward to it!!!
well I’ve wanted this piercing for a long time, just never got around to doing it. So today I woke up with it on my mind and thought I’d go get it done :) I felt no pain, its not red or swollen either, which is surprising to me, as I usually flare up. Now I just gotta look after it and let it heal, I will be getting my second tragus pierced soon. Totally painless and I am glad I done it, now I have another piercing to enjoy!
