My son volunteers at the food bank and he said that the food bank in our area has a wide variety of items. When we go grocery shopping he’ll point out different items that the food bank offers. I was surprised at some of the items that he points out.
I haven’t donated any food items lately, I usually need a food drive to remind me to donate.

How I did it: Right now this is not a top priority for me. I've been on several awful dates where I wished I would've just stayed at home. So instead I go out with friends, either meeting them for lunch, happy hour or dinner. Read how I did it…
I volunteer once a week at the Literacy Council as a tutor helping a student taking English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. The student is very sweet and eager to learn.
In the past I said this was not a priority for me. The disappointments, the let downs, the emotional roller coaster, so I said “forget it, it’s not a priority right now”. About a year ago, I met someone and we got along, I thought he was someone that I could have a relationship with but he recently told me that he does not want a serious relationship with me. At first I was upset but now I “get it”. It’s ok, I’m not going to take it personal. But I am going to get back up and try again. It took me a long to let my guard down and to take a chance, but I did it and I can do it again. I am ready to date and am willing to take more chances.
