So, I got outta the Army nearly a year ago and moved to Nor Cal. I hate it here. It’s not north enough, green enough, laid back enough, or nice enough. Everyone I’ve met is stuck up and in a hurry. I have a friend from OR who has been naggin me to consider moving there. I’ve decided it’s a go, and am looking for advice on how to time it, where I should go, cost of living, jobs, etc. Any help? I want lots of green, lots of water, and tons of unique open minded people in an area that pays a decent salary, and will allow me to finish up my degree. I heard there isn’t a place in Oregon that’s over crowded, could it be true?
