It is an old topic I made awhiel ago when there weren’t that many people to use it. It is from my own handbook so it might not work for everyone, still I had a lot of success with a few of my pack brothers.
Meditation tip #1, focusing
I often find it hard to focus during some of my meditations. I simply find that I have too many things running through my mind at a time to really focus myself. When I wish to meditate I go to my room, I shut the windows, roll down the curtains and lay on my bed. I remove the pillows and the cover so that I am able to lay completely flat, otherwise I find that if any part of my body has an elevated position that my energy flow is a bit more difficult.
Well most people get to this stage on their own. I even go to such extremes to put over headsets or cotton in my ears to eliminate sound interference. Well however you get to this point, you will probably find that the next obstacle to overcome is your own mind. The stress of the day, the simple thought process and the things that happened need to be removed before trying to meditate. I use a very straight forward method to achieving focus. I place a coin or similarly round object on my forehead on the spot of the third eye. I than let my thoughts flow, getting them out of my system, purging my psyche in a sense. After 10 minutes of focusing I remove the object. It is a nice side effect that you can still feel your third eye. But anywho it does work for me and I find that I am able to go deeper due to it. If you’re not too big on the third eye than simply holding an object and using it as a focusing tool for your energy can do wonders. Just be creative whit it.
Good luck
Meditation tip #2, reaching the high
During ones meditation as you focuse and as you concentrait some don’t realize the point where they can stop concentrating and just let go. The high is meant to embody that point during ones spiritual excercise when everything aligns and he fully enters the spiritual realm (or just to a greater degree). During that point a persone might be overcome by a single strong emotion, feel a change in the temperature, feel his body seize up or see flashes of images cascade befor ehis eyes. It is diffrent for everyone.
For me personaly I feel something like chils on the inside of my body, this happens no matter the temperature and even during summer I get this effect. As to why this happens, well any number of guesses are possible, but the most straight foward one is that your energy touches that of the spiritual and both realign themselves so you can understand one another. If you are so fortanate to reach this point than I advise you keep focuse up for another minute or two and than just let go, bassicly allow yourself to be taken upon the course the spiritual realm is shifting towards.
Letting energy flow thrghou you and being open to it is an important step in ones development in this. Only by allowing the energy to flow thrghou you can you hope to sense it, understand it and finnaly manipulate it.
Reaching the high personaly takes me about 10 minutes and it isn’t something that should be feared, I actually find it refreshing when I reach the point. It’s somewhat similare to jumping into cold water on a hot summers day.
Well good luck all and if you have your own personal expiriences reaching the high please post them.
Meditation tip 3#, hightide, lowtide
This won’t be as much a real meditation tip post as it will be a post to point something out and hopefully to give you some motivation.
Often during your dive into spirituality you will expirience highs and lows. What is a high and a low? Well a high is when your own spirituality, the abilitys that come whit them and the very way you feel the spiritual will be at a high point. You might feel energetic, wolfish, being able to read people, see auras, or do even more wicked things besides that. A low on the other hand is exactly the opposite, you feel drained, and unable to sense the spiritual around you, you might be tired, unmotivate, unable to even focuse or meditate, bassicly your in the dumps spirit wise.
This isn’t necessarly your fault, the spiritual currents or energy doesn’t flow at an even pace but it is more likened to an ocean, always rising at high tide only to recced at low tide. It could have something to do whit your actual location (spirit hotspots), it could have something to do whit the people around you or it can have something to do whit yourself and your emotions.
The basic message to take when enjoying a hightide or a lowtide is that energy is in constant motion and all power is fleeting. As an individual you can break the patern of feeling weak in a low tide or keeping yourself from drifting away in a hightide by your own personal motivation, but more often than not I feel that it is best to talk to people during such periodes and rely on them a bit to help you get by it.

Meditation tip 4# how to sense people
To sense people, or to read as it is more commonly known, is usually a very early skill developed during ones reach into the spiritual. It often has more to do whit knowing the individual in question and knowing how to react to his mood swings and such than it is a “special power”. 80% of reading is knowing a person and reading bettwen the lines, 20% is actual instict and sensing, but regardless of the percentage, combining the two is needed for a sucesful read.
One thing you should know about reading is that it is in a sense an intrusion of the other persones psychi, so one should only acuratly use it in training sessions or if it is a matter that requiers it. Of course mind you that once you do gain this ability, it is hard to turn it off in a sense.
So how is it done?
Well the first thing you need to do is keep an open mind, the second is be positive in your own abilitiys. Always remember the more you have faith in your own strength, the higher your motivation is and whit it the higher the chance of success. Often the reading process is done during a chat, you can even try it online (although internet is a poor substitute for the real thing), you should wonder about the spoken word, how it is spoken and wonder as to why it is spoken. Don’t go to far into thinking otherwise you might just confuse yourself whit your own thought pattern. Keep your mind plain and simpple and act on instinct. Try and feel a persone in a sense. Those further in spirituality will know exactly what I am talking about, but as for those just starting out, try and play a guessing game whit an individual. Each of you should write down and imagine a number, colore, name, place or persone and the other individual should proced in triing to read it. You will find that you will of course have more luck whit some people than whit others but this has more to do whit the energy pattern the persone has, how it relates to you and so on, but that is a lesson for another time. Right now just try this out, you may be suprised by your level of success.
Meditation tip #5 energy shuffle
Energy shuffle or energy transference within ones own body is a common exercise for anyone wishing to use his energy in a productive manner. The idea behind the exercise is this. At any one point your body will have a moderate amount of spiritual energy, allowing you to function normally within mundane society. You are able to increase these levels by drawing in energy whit emotions and meditation exercises. Of course the levels to which you can do this, how fast you do it and how you do it differs from individual to individual. So you now know that you not only have energy in you already but you can also increase such levels, the question one would ask is why would you increase them?
Well in life and death situations you increase your body’s physical capabilities whit adrenaline. In the spiritual you can temporarily draw energy from the surrounding spiritual realm in order to increase your own abilities. Unlike whit the body’s natural response to release adrenaline this is something that isn’t completely tied to ones survival. You do it all the time without realizing it or training for it. So drawing energy is a simple thing for pretty much anyone (I will explain it in a future tip).
However energy used purely whit emotion will be like a poorly crafted sword and will easily shatter its form as your thought process changes. So it is important to learn how to wield energy.
This is the exercise I personally do when trying to gain some measure of control over my energy. After I am done focusing my energy whit the coin or similar and am deep enough in meditation that I reach a high, I imagine gathering my energy at a point first. This cannot be my forehead as the region of the third eye is all too sensitive to my thought pattern and any energy sent there will make me lose my focus. Instead I send it to my chest area. Others might do well to send it to their stomach, abs or similar. Basically keep it focused somewhere around your body, avoiding the lower potions, legs, arms, head and heart. Now that you gathered your energy in one place or form a belief in your mind that any energy you generate will be gathered there, you are now able to begin sending it to other portions of your body. I go for my right hand usually and I keep repeating a small thought in my mind “From my chest to my arm”. I continue doing this and sooner or latter an image forms in my mind of my energy leaving my chest area and traveling towards my arm. My arm will first tense and any movement will be a burden, than it will start to burn if I go really deep.
You can try this and send it to other parts of your body as well. The point of the exercise is not to shift but it is to become familiar whit energy and your own ability to manipulate it.
