become a photographer
hoping to get back on track 3 weeks ago

this goal has been in my list for a while. for about a year, i took my camera with me everywhere and took lots and lots of pictures. then suddenly, i didn’t feel like taking pictures anymore. it has been like this for about half a year. maybe it’s not for me, but somehow it feels wrong to not be taking pictures.

i hope to change about this real soon… maybe find what it is that has really drawn me to photography in the first place, and hold on to it. i still do believe these will not be the last you’ll see from me.

learn to cook 10 excellent meals
on my way there... 3 weeks ago

let’s see…

adobo
beef steak (bistik tagalog)
chicken katsu curry
korma curry with potatoes
tinola
pesto pasta with mushrooms
salpicao
chicken afritada

just a couple more to go! :D

make a living working at a job where i don't have to get up until 10 (AM).
the answer is freelancing! 11 months ago

i quit my day job about four months ago, and it has been a great adventure since. my earliest wakeup time is around 10:30 am, and having 9 hours of sleep each night is doing me good. while it’s true what they say about its tendency of messing you up, not having a structured day and all that, i say it comes with the territory. the challenge is to build a structure that suits you, but remain flexible enough to accommodate the unpredictable. the best part? getting to spend your day any way you want. :D
