We started a crude crafting/fashion blog as a way to get our creative juices flowing but it quickly faded away and forgotten with all of our other mini projects. As a graphic design student he could definitely use the practice and fluff for his portfolio and I simply need an outlet to put my energy into. We were trying to do it weekly, but when my hours at work picked up we got overwhelmed. I think starting out we need to scale it back to 1x a month and gradually work our way up to biweekly then finally weekly. We enjoy thrifting, designing, creating, etc so this should be a breeze. Especially with the new inspiration at hand :)

Ok so my younger sis just announced that she was having her first(& the first in our immediate family) and here I am a month later finding out that I am also having my first. She is around 11 weeks and I’m around 7 so we’re about a month apart. I’m super excited and can’t wait to tell everyone. She sent out a mass text to everyone with a pic of the ultrasound.
I enjoy celebrations and have always wanted my announcements be it marriage or babies or whatever to be memorable and special. I’d like something a little less direct than a text message. My boyfriend and I have agreed to wait until I’m at least through the first trimester when the chance of miscarriaging drops significantly. So I have until mid march to think something up.
So far I like the personalized fortune cookies(fairly inexpensive & unique). I think it’d be nice to invite everyone over for game night & dinner. Prepare asian food and of course dessert can be the fortune cookies. Sometimes its hard to get everyone together so I also like the one where you mail out puzzle pieces when put together it reads we’re pregnant! I don’t know. We still have time :)
The moment I suspected a baby may be on board I honed in on my naturally vegetarian tendencies & up’ed the anti with plenty of protein and variety. I seem to be getting hit hard with nausea. I read that eating smaller steady meals through out the day can help with nausea. It seems to be helping and its a great way to ensure I’m giving myself & the baby what it needs to grow healthy.
