Do the Seattle to Portland (STP) ride
Is 2007 the year?

Even though I’ve never ridden a road bike before, I’ve decided to train for STP. I figure it’s the least I can do for (1) my health, (2) my best friend who is training for the 2007 Ironman in Louisville. If he can do an Ironman, I can certainly do STP, right? :)

First step is buy a bike. Currently looking at the Trek 2300.

Second step is buying the accessories.

Third step is going for my first ride.

backpack through Europe
Finally did it

After missing the opportunity 6 years ago, I finally backpacked through Europe for 4-weeks with my sister in September 2006. Went through France, Italy, Germany (go Oktoberfest!), Czech Republic and the UK.
