whole lotta triplicates

man oh man, thought I was making progress here but then my computer’s wifi went to the birds. I sent it in for repair, and they swiped clean my computer. I have a backup drive, but suddenly iTunes had four copies of each song and any work I’ve done to fix it now seems to be for not. Back to square one on this one. I do know there’s a duplicate song finder, so that’s a start. Others have no names or have 50 cent in their coverflow view. How 50 ended up charting high in my iTunes I have no idea! lol

read all the books I own
Read and read, but then buy some more "must reads"

Not sure if anyone else has this issue where my library of books keeps growing and faster than I can read them! Time management and maybe some mindful purchasing is in order. lol

Coping mechanisms without Alcohol

I never drank for pleasure- more to drown out pain. I suffer from mental health issues- and for sure not drinking has allowed the real me to shine through. I feel urges, and strong ones, but stop toying with them as a panacea to my ills. Addiction to anything is a human problem with a human solution. I believe in self-will, in the power to change through making a decision and doing the grunt work. AA didn’t work for me, but for all those that it does help I am happy for. I’m much more empowered now, and feel responsible for my behavior where once I would blame it on being so blotto I couldn’t remember. As time passes I will continue to punch away at this, but one day it will be considered “completed”. To move on to other pressing matters.
