We got the first frost of the winter but it hasn’t affected my running because frost came after I finished. Our coldest temperatures happen right around daybreak. I’m running into headlights on mornings now and staying safe. Within a few months, we’ll have cold snaps that will make the roads slippery. For now, a little frost is welcome.
One of the joys of my daily three mile jog is hearing cows fart along the way. I run down country lanes without shoulders, stripes or signs. I see (and hear) more cows than cows. It’s bliss.
