I graduated in the summer, and I’ve got a graduate-level internship but it’s part-time and unpaid. I want a proper job!! I’ve applied for loads, but nothing has been successful as of yet. So I’ll keep trying… =)

How I did it: Went with a friend, we'd pre-booked tickets (definitely worth doing cuz the queue was massive!!) and up we went. It was OK, not amazing. I think it helps if you know loads of London landmarks so you can point them out when you're up there. We took some nice photos. But I probably won't go again - it's too expensive... How I did it: Well it took me 5 attempts. And there was much screaming and crying and stressing out and a hell of a lot of money went into it. And I did crash once. But now I love it, and I'm speeding down the motorway at every available opportunity. I don't think it was entirely worth the hassle, but I've done it now and I'm glad I did. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Wehen I say "I've done it" what I really mean is that I passed Level 1 BSL...but that's good enough for me!! =) lol It was a really good experience, and I'm now applying for jobs working with deaf children so I think it'll really help with that. And I'm hoping to find a class to do Level 2 at some point in the near future. =) Read how I did it…
See all "How I Did It" stories...
The quality is normally pretty rubbish. If I like the movie I’ll normally then go rent or buy it so I can see it properly. So it’s not really worth the hassle of loading and downloading them all the time…
I can do the British alphabet, and a few random words – but some are ASL and some are the British version, so I really need some classes where I can learn one version or the other!! I volunteered with this organisation at uni who will find me some classes if I go along to help out with a group of deaf kids each week, so I think that’ll be good – I’ll have the classes, and then people to practice with. I’m pretty good at languages so I think it’ll be good =)
