I so want to quit smoking. I have been smoking since I was 11 years old. I took Chantix in April, Quit in May, but went back in September. God. I want to quit! 2008 is my year!
So I know what to cook, and have a master “cookbook”
Blogging is so cathartic.. and I have been doing this regularly now and find it a breeze. Great goal!
... and found out that this goal wasn’t that hard. You just have to put yourself out there, and make it happen. People want new friends, but you have to be open to it.
Our house looks great! Having new carpet has really brightened up our space.
I indicated that I would love to be a foster parent two years ago on my list of 43 things.
Since that point, I am taking care of my nephew, my sister, and a child of my own. I just want to stop for a second and say “when you write things down, things happen”.
Going to a spa was my mothers day gift. I received a massage and a facial. It was fantastic, and if I had the money, I would do this often!
I used the Chantix medication, and I cannot even begin to tell you how great I feel now that I quit smoking. It has been wonderful!!!!
I recommend it to anyone.
I didn’t get to the 50 good books in 2006.. but 2007 has been better!
I stopped selling AVON earlier this year. I just wasn’t making the kind of money that I anticipated.
I set this as a goal for myself because I wanted to have my family eat interesting and healthy dinners. I was able to accomplish this by using the website http://www.mealsmatter.com to put together menus and recipes. Another fantastic site is http://www.allrecipes.com.
Good luck!
.. try just having too much to do, or spending time getting absorbed in reading or the internet. The question, however, is whether you are spending too much time on the ‘net…
I got Chantix, and it is really working! I have had some cravings, but I am down to only 3 cigarettes a day.
Doing good…
This has been on my goal list for a long time; yet, due to extenuating circumstances, this was a must-do. I had to really put my mind to it, import everything into Microsoft Money, and I am on my way to getting caught up again.
The best thing is to pay attention to your money – download your transactions every third day (at most). If you can do it more than that, that is great. Secondly, really categorize your transactions to see how much you are spending – it is really eye opening. My husband was spending $150 a month on fast food lunches! Also, set reminders a couple days before hand when bills are due.
I came close.. I purchased many ceramic shoes… purses, etc. My room looks so much better. I just need better carpet….
I am done with my bachelors degree! This is a huge accomplishment for me, and now I can document it!
