Black walls are nearly impossible to change back to normal walls—it was fun for a few months but it got old so I decided to repaint.Four coats later and the black is still coming through.

About a year ago I realized that ever since I discovered the Internet I seldom had reason to open a book – and I had hundreds of books that I have collected and cherished all my life, and I felt it was wrong for me to just let them sit on their shelves forever. Anyway, my neighbor, who loves to cook, now has a whole bookshelf full of new recipes, the kids at my friend’s church got all the crafts books, my brother has more travel books and atlas’s than he’ll ever use – I am so happy I was able to pass my beloved library on to others, I think it was one of the best things I’ve ever done.

I was 17,my boyfriends parents had taken us out to lunch at their country club and an hour later they were still having drinks so we got bored and went for a walk. There was a wedding outside - a great big wedding, the kind where the dress cost more than my car - we watched for a few minutes and then one of the ushers asked “Bride or groom?” and Steve didn’t even hesitate “Groom” he said, and for the next 4 hours we partied like we were millionaires! I kept thinking we would be found out and asked to leave, but no one ever caught on—Steve even toasted the happy couple!
