find a unique, cute little travel mascot to take with me on all trips and photograph "him" next to touristy sites wherever i go...(kind of like the traveling gnome).

So, I’m on my way to London with my family and we stop at Watford Gap for a break as you do. And while waiting for everyone to finish buying supplies and using the bathrooms I spot one of those claw grab games full of cuddly toys that let’s you keep playing until you win something. Not really my cup of tea normally, but then right on top of a pile a Monkey gets my attention that is just what I have been looking for!

However, further investigation reveals that the positioning of the monkey means you can’t actually grab him, so a bit gutted I decided to mooch over to the stop to buy something to nibble at for the rest of the car journey, and suddenly get excited again when I discover the shop has a whole collection of toys on the shelves – But, damnit no monkeys there either – I thought, but by chance my Mum noticed one right at the back of the shelf and picked it out. Ace, so rather by chance I came across my Travel buddy (Who has his own website – of course, but it’s still very work in progress might post a link once it’s working)


Practice Yoga (read all 2 entries…)
Good First Week 1 month ago

On Monday I started with Richard Hittleman’s 28 Day Yoga plan , and made it to Day Four, with a break on Wednesday to work from a Yoga DVD with a friend, and two days off where I still managed to do some basic stretches to keep momentum going.

So a good first week I feel, and I’m aiming to keep the same level of momentum again next week, though the book intends for you to have no breaks, working with a friend once a week helps us both keep motivated, and I have other things on my mind at home so keeping as active as I can, but fitting it around my other commitments.
