How I did it: Everybody knew. It was obvious. I even told my sister, not a huge deal. Parents? A completely different story. I don't know of anyone who wouldn't have the slightest fear of having their parents look at them differently for the rest of their life. I had my chance once, in middle school, when, in the car, my mom asked me about my sexuality (let's just say there were plenty of signs). I couldn't tell her I was completely gay, but som… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I recognized all of the awesome things in life, stopped complaining so often and moved on with things I didn't need to hang onto. There was so much, just, Stuff, that I had been clinging to for years, though nothing was progressing and I simply wasn't growing much. I realized that on and off for a couple of years, but finally decided to do something about it.One of the best decisions of my life. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I started researching vegetarian diets, as well as reasons to become a vegetarian. I found a lot of information describing cruel ways the meat industry thrives, and I absolutely could not bring myself even close to eating meat any longer. I figured out the vitamins I would need to be sure I replaced daily through other foods and have never regretted my decision to become a vegetarian. Read how I did it…
I was so happy the day that I moved this goal into the “done!” category.
It turns out it was a lie.
I’ve been trying to exercise most days, and this week I’ve worked out every day except one! This morning I woke up and did one of the longer Women’s Health videos before making a protein berry smoothie. I’m feeling pretty accomplished and it’s only just past 6 AM. :)
I’ve been eating a lot more than I should, but I caught it and that’s what I feel is important. I’m focusing on my food intake and thinking positively. Today is going to be a good day.
Happy Friday!
I’ve had this goal for a while now, but I really want to do it and I think I’m ready to go for it now.
I want set goals for weight loss in five pound increments.
Right now I weigh 145 lbs, and I want to weigh 140 by June 1st. I eat very healthily and make sure that I get all of the nutrients I need. Considering I haven’t used my time very well so I haven’t been working out much lately, I know working out at a difficult intensity for at least four days every week will make this happen.
I’m ready, willing and I feel like posting my progress will make me stick with it this time.
Now all I have to do is work for it!
