How I did it: I had to fill out an application and wait quite a while. I think the cost was like $200 or so. Well worth it though. I can't imagine riding a bike without taking that course first. I didn't even have to take the test at the DMV when I was done. Just walked in, handed them my certificate from the course, paid my fee, and walked out with my new M class license. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Got a loan from a bank, went to the store, and bought that bike I've been wanting! Woo! This was a scary experience, but well worth it. I bought the bike in October 2008 and I've got 1.5k miles on it by March 2009. Every time I ride it puts a smile on my face. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Just sit and write what comes to mind. Try to make it unique. Rhyme isn't necessary. I prefer rhythm. I also like to abstract ideas. So if you think of happiness, think of an object that makes you happy and write that instead, as placeholder for the happiness. Read how I did it…

I’m in town till Saturday. Yesterday I took the Orange Line from Vienna to the Smithsonian stop and photographed the Mall: http://trevarthan.blogspot.com/2009/04/dc-at-dusk.html
I’ll have a bit of time Saturday morning to take some more photos. Where might I get the most bang for my photographic buck? I’m staying in Herndon!
