...and I was good at it, and really, really good for 13. I never knew I could play. I was so self-conscious, I’d only practice when everyone was out of the house. I hated lessons, though only because my teacher made me sing. I thought I was terrible!
Now it has been 10 years since I’ve picked up the guitar with any seriousness. I can remember some of the chords, but I’ll have to go through the “ow fingers in pain” stage again.
I think it will be worth it, though. I would love to be able to play again. I have done it before, so why can’t I do it again?
My main issue was procrastination when That Time Comes, but now I’ve gotten myself used to flossing as soon as I come home from work. It takes no time at all and doesn’t hurt any more! I should set more goals like this (ones that I actually meet)!
