Dawn at Virginia Beach 1 week ago

I finally saw my first sunrise over the Atlantic in Virginia Beach, VA at 5:56 AM this morning. I didn’t realize how fast it goes… all of a sudden it was just there, and I could literally see it moving. Very cool, and very glad I was able to drag myself out of bed this morning and drive the 20 minutes it takes to the ocean from where I’m staying!

Climbed all 2,109 steps, 103 flights, this morning with GoVertical Chicago! Took a grand total of 28 minutes. DEFINITELY WORTH DOING!
