I started with a student credit card, and used it once or twice a month, and paid it off in full. Then I got a United MileagePlus card and I’ve been using it as my primary spending mechanism ever since, also paid off in full each month. I recently looked at my credit score when I bought my new car, and bam, things looked very good. So I think I am nearing completion of “building my credit”. I guess the responsibility over time pays off!

How I did it: So easy. I walked into an Apple store and was helped out immediately, as you'd expect. The computer (a 2.4 GHz 1st-gen aluminum unibody model) is awesome, the best machine and the best computer product I have yet bought, hands down. Extremely happy with it. Worth every penny. How I did it: I bought a Mac, and while it's not linux, it is UNIX based and along the same lines. yes, I know it's not free software, but I get to use free software on it using MacPorts, and I can run my Ubuntu with the click of a button in the excellent virtualization software that's available for Mac. Definitely happy with this situation. Read how I did it…
Woohoo! I did it! I taught myself (with my mom’s help) how to drive my dad’s Audi A4 (manual of course) when I was at home for a few weeks and he was off on a business trip. Sshh, don’t tell. Fun car too :) I took it to the golf course (ooh la la) and drove it around some windy roads, lots of fun.
I stalled it a few times, but I had read so much about how the clutch works that once I felt it I picked it up pretty quickly. It’s so much more tactile and fun to drive than an automatic, but I’m still glad my car’s auto so I don’t have to think about it so much.
I’ve written quite a few in the last month or so, and it’s helping me understand myself better :) Success!
