I gave blood at a tent that the singer of Jack’s Mannequin was promoting at Bamboozle Left, and it was such a positive feeling. The more people that face their fears and take the time to donate blood, the higher the chances grow for saving someone’s life! And do please check out Jack’s Mannequin, especially if you love piano rock.

How I did it: I bought a pair of tickets for my brother's birthday. We both love The Soup on E! and when I saw Joel McHale was performing right over in Ontario at the Improv, I had to get tickets! We had dinner, drinks, and laughed A LOT! And beings it was a present for my brother's birthday, it felt really good treating the two of us. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I have naturally reddish-brown hair. For the past few months I had been experimenting with some new hair colors. I decided to be bold and put highlights in my hair. How I did it: The piano is my favorite instrument, so why wouldn't I want to play? I enrolled in a piano class at school. It was an 18-week course but I put in some long hours. Repeating a lot of songs at home for the family-- they hated me! LOL! For the final, I played the song I longed to learn: "Smile" written by Charlie Chaplin Read how I did it…

I love medical shows—for me, this one is a close second (to Scrubs)... laughter is truly the cure to all my bad days.
I have always been a big fan of our feathered friends, but all I have ever owned have been cockatiels, parakeets and a lovebird. Parrots with their intelligence and talent have always interested me, and finally, to my surprise, I received a Congo African Grey for my 19th brithday by my brother and sister-in-law! I named him Nicky and I adore him just as much as the rest of my “kids.”
