Just on a whim I decided to bonsai a mango tree! I grew another mango tree a few months ago and it’s about 10 inches tall already. I put this mango seed in a pot that was at least an inch smaller than the pot itself but it’s growing. I took the green seed out of the husk and wrapped it in a moist paper towel, put it in a plastic baggie (with holes for air), and put it in a windowsill. It grew within a week! The roots and the stem grow out of the same place, so only one end of the seed needed to be in the soil. I think eventually the green seed will shrivel and go away (that’s the part sticking out of the pot) and the stem and leaves will be huge! Well, as huge as a bonsai can get! Good luck to everyone!
