the violin is a beautiful instrument. I’ve been playing for about 9 years on classical. I also play a bit of jazz violin (about 2 years) my older sister has been playing for 12 years and she teaches me a lot of stuff in addition to my private lessons. Remember to not limit yourself on what you can do.

Both of my younger brothers play cello and they sound awesome! Your never too young to start (my youngest brother is 4, he just started) and it is really pretty. You can also (believe it or not) play many different styles, not just classical.
