Earlier this year I had a goal to write down at least one thing every day that made me happy and I did that for a year and I think it really helped me to remember the good in each day and now I want to remember the books I read and write a short paragraph about what I read and how I felt about it. I think it will help with comprehension and it’ll be fun to read the books again and see how my perspectives changed.

How I did it: I bought a ticket and saw him! I had been wanting to see him for a long time then finally I saw he was coming to my town and I bought a ticket. It was amazing and fun and he's a great performer. There were people there of all ages and he made it fun and interactive. I want to be friends with him! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Don't give up. I think it really helped me be more optimistic and find the good in others and myself. I never had a "bad day" again because there always something good that happened. Read how I did it…
How I did it: We have a stack of apples and bananas in my dining hall and if I didn't grab a spinach salad for my usually veggie I grabbed usually a banana. I found that a fruit or veggie adds to a meal and by making sure I did this for a month I will try and continue to still eat fruits and vegetables and the other foods on that food pyramid! Well I just started college and with all this running around I haven’t been drinking enough water. I need to force myself in the habit of drinking more water so only drinking it for a month should be a good start. September 1st = day 1. Oh goodness..
Well it’s been almost 4 months of recording something that makes me happy and I’ve been really happy with this goal. It helps to find the positive in everyday and remember fun events. I also now can refer back to certain days and they don’t all mesh together. Yay 8 months left!
