Give blood
Irrationally satisfying

I look forward to my quarterly donations unlike anything else I do. I have no idea why!

They love it when I donate because I’m O neg, which is extremely rare in Singapore.

I’m glad I do it, and that I can do it. It has helped me deal with my fear of needles, too.

move to Singapore
Singapore is the suburb of Asia

As somebody who’s lived in Singapore for many years, I have to ask why would you want to move here?

I’d recommend Kuala Lumpur, Banagalore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, or Taipei if you’re looking for a new experience in an Asian metropolis. All are much more dynamic and fun to explore than Singapore. The food’s alright here and things are quite efficient, but otherwise it isn’t very happening.

However, if you must, let me know if I can help.

take piano lessons again
Just play

I enquired with my son’s piano teacher on starting again, and she told me that if I’ve had lessons before then the best thing to do is just start playing – she didn’t want to teach me!

As with anything worthwhile, she said it takes some effort, and I just haven’t got around to it yet…
