Well I never found an internship during undergrad. The career development center at my university was WORTHLESS. But then I went to grad school, where I practically had internships THROWN at me. I worked for one semester at a Syracuse alternative weekly, then the next semester at a NYC-based arts magazine.
Now I just have a lame job :\

I got an internship at an arts magazine in NYC during the second semester of grad school, got an apartment in NYC and commuted back and forth for my once a week day of classes each week (4 and a half hour drive, by the way), then when grad school was over, finished the move completely. I was in Ridgewood, Queens for about eight months, and recently moved to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I couldn’t be happier.

I don’t know why I even added this as one of the things I wanted to do, but it’s been a couple of years since then, I finished undergrad, went on to graduate school, and had a masters by age 22. I’m just that smart haha :]
AND NOW I NEVER HAVE TO DO HOMEWORK AGAIN!!!
