I am 40 years old. I owe roughly 10-12 years on a 15-year mortgage for my house here in Phoenix. I would like to pay the house off and semi-retire (work part time). Currently and in the near future, I only need enough income to meet my living expenses. I enjoy my free time to read, play with my dog G, lay out and swim, work out and travel to see friends in California, Washington, Texas and Mexico and travel to see the rest of the world! I think this goal is achieveable.

I bought my home in Phoenix in November 1998. I moved to Chicago in March 2001 but kept my home. I have had four renters in five years.
My first renters were a gay boy and a drag queen. Without asking they cut down my cactus and trimmed the bushes beside my house until they died. When they moved out there was glitter and wig hair in the freezer.
My second renters were two lesbians. They moved out early and left all their unwanted furniture, clothes and junk and basically trashed my house.
My third renter was my a friend of my maintanence man. She moved out to move into her own home. She never paid her full deposit. She painted my living room and dining room (sloppily) white. The trim and ceilings are all beige.
My last tenant, Jacqueline, will be moving out two months early so that I can move back in.
I am anxiously waiting to turn my house back into my home.
