Am I toasting someone? Am I holding a beer in my hand? Am I British? No, I’m communicating with someone about a work-related task that shouldn’t correlate with a “cheers”.

Since I was in high school, people have been telling me that I have a great voice. Of course, I’ve never done anything about it. And of course, just having a good voice doesn’t mean that I’d automatically be good at voice-overs, so I have been meaning to take a class for years. I really want to learn more about this craft and see if perhaps it’s something I could do professionally.
I started playing the drums (badly) about 2 years ago. My dad was a drummer and he gave me his 2 kits (an old Rogers jazz kit and a sweet Ludwig Vistalite kit – just like John Bonham!).
I took lessons for a while, but stopped when my daughter was born. I still go down and pound on them occasionally, but what I really want to do is jam with some people.
I’m not at all good, but I can lay down a decent beat. I think jamming with a bass and guitar (or even just one of those) would be a blast.
