I’ve been trying to make it a goal to read a chapter per night before bed. Something this is hard because it’s easy to write off the task when I’m feeling especially tired, but overall it has worked out fairly well. I’ve also capped my book purchasing until I begin to make a dent into the queue that has formed on my nightstand.

Well my backups had been fairly lackluster up until my hard drive crashed a little over a month ago. Since then I’ve been religious about backing things up whenever I get the chance, which ends up equating to once or twice a week. Having a RAID solution would be ideal, but not realistic for a laptop.
