I was basically given a great story as an unintended gift from some conversations with my father. He had such interesting adventures that seem to lend themselves perfectly to a screenplay.
So far I have a fairly complete outline of the story, but I think I probably need some help from an accomplished or talented writer to turn it into something that will be taken seriously.
Otherwise it will probably end up as a short story written to get some cathartic satisfaction.

I have learned handfuls of both languages, more in French than German…
I feel like I’m on the verge of “getting it” and starting to be able to speak both of them much more fluently.
I imagine that if I set a regular schedule to practice a little several times a week I would make significant progress.

I want to write a book about all the ordinary things in life that we take for granted and don’t even notice anymore.
I think it is so interesting to take these things which are right under our noses every day and examine them closely.
I have been taking notes and collecting them into a large word document and arranging them into an order that seems to make sense.
It is turning into the table of contents for the book, with each section to be written later.
