The closest I’ve ever gotten to accomplishing this goal was last summer when I went on a road trip planning on going straight to North Carolina but stopping in Virginia for two nights. We met some great people in Norfolk.

Today, my friend told me that I have, in fact, changed her life. She said to me, “I think that every person you connect with changes your life in some way. Without me, you’d be a different person. Without you, I’d be different from how I am. It’s simply how life works”. I can’t argue with her theory at all.
today in chemistry i came in just before the bell rang and chose the last seat available next to a kid named drew who i don’t usually speak to. before class started i was getting my notebook out and he asked me “do you remember math class last year?” I told him yes, i remembered. and he said, “me and ben were talking over the weekend and i asked if you were in his math class. he said no. anyway that class was pretty fun. mainly because of you”
i smiled because it was nice to hear that people i hardly ever talk to think of me when i’m not around. and think i’m fun.
