I belong to a Buddhist temple and I attend services where we meditate and have talks given by our monks or nun. Today, one of our monks mentioned that we can never be 100% happy. We can learn how to strive and work toward being happy and how to maintain levels of being happy, but we will never be 100% happy all of the time. Something to keep in mind.

How I did it: I have started using free book services like Paperbackswap.com, bookmooch.com, bookcrossing.com and librarything.comThese services allow me to connect with other readers, get rid of books I do not want, swap books I would like to get, and read the libraries of other interesting people, while learning about new and exciting books. How I did it: I took advice from Vanessa Summers and her book "Get in the Game" about getting my finances in order. One of the main goals she stresses is to pay yourself first. So I started setting aside $10 a paycheck to put into savings. I do this no matter what. That way the money can collect interest and I have a "safety net" should things ever get desperate. How I did it: Understand that declawing is cruel and unnatural, and can create behavior problems in cats, including not wanting to use their litterbox. Be ready to cite and give information to people who want to declaw their pets. There are humane options that do not involve pain!! You just have to be well educated on this subject and convince others it is less of a cure and more of a problem than they realize! Read how I did it…

I was able to honor him on February 14th, a few days before his due date, and the last Valentine’s Day his dad and I were together. Very sad and difficult, but he will never be forgotten and will always be loved….
So I’m divorced now and I want to find someone to love and spend my life with again. I thought my ex was the one but I guess not….I’m sure there is someone waiting out there for me though! There just has to be.
