The other day I was talking to my mom about how my cat is getting pretty old and his time to go could be anytime now. My first thought was how I’m just glad he didn’t die a few month ago when he got out of the house for 6 days. So I told my mom, “At least he will probably go peacefully at home if the time is near.” And it dawned on me that deep down, I AM a positive person! Even though I’m sure there’s always room to “be more positive”, I feel like I’ve reached a level of automatic positivity that I’m happy with so I’m crossing it off!

My method so far is to allow myself a moment of negativity BUT then following it up with positivity. So if I’m feeling grumpy and fed up, I have a little rant or vent but then I tell myself something like “oh well, at least (enter something positive)”. I don’t think it’s possible to be positive all the time so I think allowing moments of negativity helps get it all out, as long as I follow it up with something positive to lift my spirits. It doesn’t work all the time but I do think I’ve made improvements.
A US size 0 is really only healthy if you’re short, like I am. For you tall girls, please don’t make this a goal.
Even though this is not something I ever tried to do – it’s just a natural size for someone as short as I am – I’m marking it as “not worth it” simply because of all the judgement and discrimination I’ve recieved for being “size 0” despite being a healthy weight for my height.
