yesterday i bought the pots; today i planted the seeds.
the red shiso seeds came from a shop in harrisburg. the green shiso seeds came on a plane from yamagata prefecture, japan to memphis, TN in the pocket of a friend.
now i just need to get going on some cilantro, basil, and lavender. : )
my cat and i drove from nearly coast to coast in just over 4 days. we drank a lot of water. i sang a lot to stay awake. i saw a fox, some elk, two roadrunners, a jackrabbit, and a tumbleweed. motel 6 is inexpensive, nearly everywhere, and pretty easy to find off of most exits. if this is something you’d also like to do, go for it!! both oceans are beautiful and there is so much to see and do in between!
