This year I actually managed to read:
- Picture of Dorian Gray (Oscar Wilde)
- War and Peace (Tolstoi)
- The Old Man and the Sea (Hemingway)
and I’m currently reading The Words by Jean Paul Sartre
I haven’t read so much in years! :) So, being temporarily unemployed has its advantages ;)

1. I’ve always loved the way it sounds, it’s so expressive. I don’t think it’s cold at all.
2. I was in Germany and Austria recently which made me even more curious about it!

Two amazing things I’ve done this summer:
Hitch-hiking – at first I thought it would be dangerous, but it turned out to be an amazing opportunity to meet all kinds of interesting people. My faith in humanity is completed restored. The thing is when you’re hitch-hiking you’re completely dependent of kindness of strangers and everywhere there are good people who are willing to help you :)
Couch-surfing – It’s amazing that there are people willing to offer their homes and their company to travelers and it’s an awesome way of meeting people and get to know more about the culture and everyday life of the place you’re visiting. For people hosting it provides the opportunity to travel without leaving home. I’ve been also participating in local activities organized by the CS community and it’s really fun!
