So after 2 pissy weeks of not doing anything I finally start back getting on track. And wtf happens? I gain weight!! Yeah it’s only 4 ounces but I was already 3+ lbs behind on my weekly 1 pound loss goal. I’m sooooooooooooooooooooo frustrated. My motivation coming back was already weak and this is not helping at all. I’m pissed. I’m not going to give up or anything but I usually let myself have some indulgements on the weekend. I have a really nasty attitude about it all right now so I’m not going to do any exercise other than zumba tomorrow and i’m not going to think about dieting and food choices. I’ll just start fresh on Monday. And watch i’ll probably weigh less on Monday than today because my body thinks it’s funny to do that to me. Sorry for the negative attitude problem I got going on right now just needed to vent. Good luck to all and congrats to everyone who is doing well.
I just went to this new dance class they are offering called Zumba. It was so much fun! At first I felt all uncoordinated and a bit shy. But by the end when I stopped thinking so hard on it I got it down, was having fun and sweating my butt off. The instructor said we burned 500-600 calories during that hour class. Yay! So were going to start going a couple of times a week. I’m still going to do my normal workouts on the days we go to Zumba but this will be a nice extra little calorie burn since it doesnt wear me out and it doesnt feel like exercise because it’s so fun. :-)
