ride on a boat
It was fun!

Again, with my bestie and my husband. It was a blast! I think I would rather be on a boat than in the water!

Have $500 in a savings account
Finally!

We have finally hit the $500 mark in savings. It’s good to know that, if an emergency were to happen, we would be prepared!

Swim in a lake
In good company!

My best friend got me to do this one! I went with him and his family out to Deer Creek and we did some swimming (I was mostly on the floatie but it’s something!) I did actually get all the way in the water and swim too!

How good does it feel?

OMG! My husband and I bought a brand new 2012 Toyota Yaris with the help of a cosigner. It’s so nice to drive a new car and not have to worry about it not starting this time! This is my first new car and we both love it so much! We’ll be paying on it for a while but it’s worth it!

We messed this one up

I don’t remember what happened but we were late on rent. :( The good thing is that, even though it started all over again, we are still caught up for the next six months all except for our new car payment. :) We prepaid all of our bills for 6 months and were even able to save up some money!

One month down!

11-20

11. The times that my husband and I get to spend a whole day together.
12. The face that my dog gives me when she rests her head on my lap.
13. Being the person that I want to be with very few exceptions.
14. Playing video games.
15. Being a college student.
16. Seeing how far I’ve come and being where I never thought I would.
17. Cold rain on a hot day.
18. Watching my dog interact with children. She loves it too.
19. Not having to pee during a movie.
20. Watching my cat go crazy with her catnip.

Get back down to 250 pounds
Baby steps.

I know that I need to lose a lot more than that but I think it’ll be better for me to set small achievable goals.

finish editing my novel
Editing a novel that I've never read sucks!

I wrote my book so fast that there is so much editing that needs to be done but it’s coming along alright anyway! I’m almost through chapter 1!

1-10

1. Waking up and seeing my husband lying next to me.
2. My dog being silly.
3. Disappearing into a book for hours, sometimes days.
4. My adorable little niece’s giggles.
5. Snuggling with my husband.
6. Knowing that science is reality.
7. Knowing that there are 400 billion stars in our galaxy alone.
8. Being a deep-down good person, even if I get hurt.
9. Being completely and totally in love with somebody that feels the same way about me.
10. The comfortable new bed that I finally got after years of used and uncomfortable sleep.

Finally start a vegetable/herb garden!
Maybe next year?

I’ve been saying I’m going to do this for so long! I have some herbs that I’ve started indoors but I think it may be too late to transplant them by the time they are ready.

We have a small area that I can use for gardening but I hate bugs! I also just need to make the time to do it and get the supplies!

go back to San Diego
All of the things to do!

San Diego is magical to me. My husband and I went there on our honeymoon and I have never been so happy in my entire life. We went to Disneyland and SeaWorld. We spent a lot of nights on the shores of La Jolla beach.

I want to go back! This time, I want to do the following things (maybe even more!):

Go to all of Disneyland! We didn’t go to California Adventure when I was there.

Go to Universal Studios!

See the ocean during the day. As silly as it seems, every time we went to the ocean, it was night time.

Stand in the ocean up to my knees
It's so scarrry!

Hahaha! I saw the ocean for the second time in my life when my husband and I went to San Diego on our honeymoon. He couldn’t even talk me into letting the water touch my feet but, next time, I want to stand in it knee-deep.

My car right now

1993 Toyota Camry

It may be a decent car but it is far from a nice car. It only starts when it wants to and, sometimes, we have to sit and try to start it for a half an hour or so before it decides to do so. I’m thankful that it does always end up starting but we’re late to everything.

It also has a massive oil leak and I think we are always out of oil. Me and my husband are both horrible with cars and just want to pay somebody to fix it but I keep wondering if we would be better off buying a new car…

The AC doesn’t work. :( It may just need a charge but Utah Summers are hot and I hate the heat.

There are dents that make it look like somebody got angry at it and beat it with a hammer (not saying that I blame them much).

Despite all of the above, (And the many things that I’m sure that I forgot) it’s still our car and it still gets us from point A to point B. For that, I am grateful.

It's a way off...

I wanted to put this one on here because I recently rejoined this site and saw how far I’ve come! I think this can be one of the things that I look at when I’ve gone even further and think “it’s so strange that I drove a POS at one point.”

Buy a House
Hopefully in the next year...

We just got into an apartment that we love but we’re renting it. My husband is working on his credit and we hope that we will be able to buy a house next year when the lease is up on our apartment!

Find a unique mascot to take on trips with me and photograph wherever I go
Why this wasn't worth doing...

I didn’t want to take the effort to take all of the pictures. This just took too much effort for me. I put that I got it done because I think my husband counts as a mascot.

get my passport
Money is the root of all evil.

It seems we are going to have to wait on this one. My husband just started his new job and we have bills to pay. My ultimate goal is to get one (at least in the works) by the end of the summer.

touch a dolphin
Sea world

We went to San Diego for our Honeymoon and my husband spent so much time playing with the dolphins! I was too busy being too scared and taking pictures. Next time, I will touch them too.

Get CPR/Firsst Aid certified
My old job

I got a job that helped me get certified in both!
