it took me 4 years to get around to it, but i finally did! it didn’t even hurt. i heard the sound and looked at the woman piercing my ears and said ‘is that it?’, because i couldn’t tell if she had even pierced the first ear. =]

I gave up meat for Lent this year. Let me tell you, it was not worth it. I did it because normally I give up simple foods that are unhealthy, such as pop and chips. But this year I wanted a challenge, so I gave up meat. I guess I’m kind of glad I did it, because now I know being a vegetarian is not for me. I already should havce known that though…I love meat too much. =] My advice to any one considering doing this is to only do it if you are an animal activist. Unless you do it right (which is difficult), it’s completely unhealthy. So don’t do it at all if you don’t have a good reason.
i did it =] all week long i convinced myself that i’ve wanted to be in a summer play for too many years now…and that i had to do something about it. so tryouts were at 12 pm today and i went. i’m pretty proud of myself. i did not do great at all, lol. i got nervous and tried to hard. bad combination. but that’s okay, because at least i tried. so there will be no regret. i’m so proud. it’s lame, actually, how proud i am of myself. but i mean…i’ve knocked something off the to-do list! and who knows…i may get a part and actually have something to do this summer.
