I don’t want to work for the rest of my life! I’m maybe 5-7 years from retirement. I’m paying off all my credit cards and working to where all I’ll have left is a mortgage and basic utility payments. It’s tough but you have to do it. I’m continuing to place funds in my 401k and IRA along with a couple of mutual funds. As for savings…used to pay more bills! I want out…..of debt that it and to become financially independent!

I have nine classes to complete before I’ll have the requirements for my BA degree. What will I do after that? Can you say Masters Degree?! Getting there finally!

Yep! I’m still saving and still paying off debt. I finally paid off one credit card and put it away! YES! Starting next month I’ll have a little bit extra to payoff other credit cards. I’m not out of the hole yet but 2010 is looking pretty good already. Another thing I’m doing is selling off my library. I have so many books just sitting on the shelf that I have read or have yet to read. HEY! I work near a library! DUH! Easy solution there!

Finally, with the upcoming holiday season, don’t over spend! I have cut back a lot. Same goes with Christmas cards.
