Traditionally, inuit women stand facing each other and mimic nature sounds, bird mimicing, there are a number of tradtional songs that were passed on for generations.
My favourite one is the love song, throatsinging is becoming more and more popular among young girls.
My friend and I recently came back from France and Belgium. We accompanied the Aboriginal Veterans, as they were being recognized in France during the war. It was uplifting and moving.
