How I did it: Healthy diet, exercise (including both strength training and cardio), and determination to be a better, healthier me.I still need to lose a lot more weight, but this is a step in the right direction, and the fact that I was able to lose 30 pounds all on my own without the aid of pills, surgery, or money-wasting gimmicks gives me motivation to lose the rest of my weight. How I did it: When I met my fiance, who happened to live in Ithaca, NY at the time, for the very first time, it was October of 2006. Living in Central Arizona my entire life, I had never seen leaves change in person. It was a gorgeous sight for my poor desert-sore eyes.
